Arising from the Previous Minutes
The garages
on Southfield Road, a focus for anti-social behaviour, have now been removed.
3. Robert Shaw Playing
Field – Update
A process to
try and secure Section 106 money to develop football and cricket facilities has
begun. This money is city-wide money
with demands across the city to get access to a share of it. There is a need to put a formal report
together to campaign to get a share of this money. The meeting is on the 14th March. A Variety of people from different agencies
have contributed to the report including Robert Shaw School and Groundwork .
4. AGM Arrangements
This will be
held on the 2nd May 2012 at 6pm. Thank
you to the volunteers who have offered to deliver notification leaflets to the
local residents.
5. Any Other Business
The former
M&S company building is under the ownership of a newly formed organisation,
who are committed to developing it in to a community centre. This centre will be open to all sections of
the community. The organisation is currently going through the planning process
to obtain the permission required for a change of use in the premises.
