The event tonight was a presentation for the money awarded for applications for community projects. It was great to see people being allocated money to benefit their community without having to jump through so many hoops and around so many obstacles so for a bit of cash.
The application was straight forward, the money was low in relative terms to council budgets but will at least the money goes to groups trying to make a difference and care about the community they live in.
The evening was a excellant night out at the Ballroom of the Nottingham Council House.
